Re: Transition Leadership for the Division of Student Affairs

I am pleased to announce that effective August 1, 2006, Associate Vice Chancellor Jean Marie Scott will be delegated executive authority for the management of the Division of Student Affairs. Her formal appointment as Acting Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs requires approval from the Regents. That approval is pending and will be considered by the Regents in the near future. Jean Marie has agreed to serve the campus in this capacity until the recruitment and appointment of a permanent Vice Chancellor has been concluded. Please join me in thanking Jean Marie for her continued commitment to our campus community.
