Re: Flu shots available to staff and faculty

Dear Colleagues,

Many of you have requested that Flu Shots be made available to staff and faculty through the Student Health Center. Although in past years we have not been able to fulfill these requests due to shortages of vaccine, this year we WILL be able to accommodate a significant number of staff and faculty who desire this service.

We have set aside the following times in the last week in October to provide this service to staff and faculty at the Student Health Center:

Monday, October 27 - Thursday, October 30, from 8 until 9:30 a.m. and Friday, October 31 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Flu shots are recommended for persons over the age of fifty and those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes and asthma. The cost for the flu shot is $15. Please bring cash or check (payable to UC Regents). Plan to walk or shuttle over to the Health Center, as parking is extremely limited.
