Space Exploration: The Moon & Mars - A Vision of the Future by Scott Hubbard, Director of NASA Ames Research Center

Presented by Acting Chancellor Martin M. Chemers and the UC Santa Cruz Foundation

In 2000, Hubbard served as the first NASA Mars program director and successfully restructured the entire Mars program in the wake of mission failures. Hubbard was the first director of NASA's Astrobiology Institute, was NASA's mission manager for Lunar Prospector, and is credited with conceiving the Mars Pathfinder mission. He recently served as the sole NASA representative on the Columbia Accident Investigation Board.
