Re: Photographer on Campus, April 27-30, 2004
University Relations has commissioned distinguished photographer Phil Schermeister to document teaching and learning, research activities, and student life on our campus. He will be working on campus for four consecutive days this spring: Tuesday through Friday, April 27 through 30 (with the possible addition of Saturday, May 1). His photographs will supplement and update the existing inventory of images used in our print and web communications.
It has been a number of years since we've done a broad photographic survey of the campus like this, and it may be quite awhile before such an opportunity comes again. Much of Phil's shooting schedule will be planned in advance, but there will also be some flexible time to afford him the opportunity to capture the spontaneity and dynamism of a campus on the move. So please welcome Phil if he shows up, camera, ID, and photo releases in hand, on the doorstep of your classroom, lab, or college.
