Re: Invitation from Chancellor: 20th Anniversary Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation
Please join us for the 20th Anniversary Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation on Tuesday, January 20 at 7 p.m. at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. The keynote speaker will be Yolanda King, daughter of Dr. King, actress and author.
This convocation celebrates the life and dream of the late civil rights leader by reaffirming the human ideals of freedom, justice, community and opportunity. Additionally, the convocation seeks to build partnerships and develop dialogue within the campus community and with the local communities served by the University. The convocation is free of charge and open to the public.
